What a weekend! It was the first time I've been in the water for almost 6 months & although the waves were not much to write home about it was awesome! Flip flops, surfboard & iced coffee is all one truly needs to survive. You've got to keep the priorities in check...right?
I'm working on the tan as to avoid crisping like a french fry upon my departure for Israel with a little over 2 weeks until take off. The average temp is about 112 this time of year. No worries. I'm totally and absolutely stoked for the journey ahead.
But I'm blessed to have almost 2 weeks with my family in Va before take off. Herding cattle and tending to the chickens is a good kick off for the Holy Land.
