I think the last post was the longest gap in writing & it took a little prompting to hop on the computer and start tapping on the keyboard again. With the new year rolling in with intense speed, there seems to be less time and more things to be done. But my hope is to fine tune the balancing skills a little over the next few months. Life is busy, that won't change, but much has to do in how I deal with it and respond to whatever might come my way. So, the road keeps rolling right along...

My parents & Tristan headed into town this weekend for a few days of catching up, being with one another and throwing a little fun & good Jersey food in the mix. Tristan is all about heading to Murphys for a serious hoagie and then onto pizza and cannolis. Being with my little dude makes my heart smile & I find myself biting my lip to keep from not laughing at whatever outlandish things come out of that little guys mouth. It was a blast attempting to teach him to ice skate; he was all about attempting to do a figure eight even though he was clueless as to what that was. As we sat on the bleachers watching the Flyers practice he was clapping and watching with eyes wide and a smile that stretched across his face. Just as the crowd grew silent Tristan belts out, "Go Yankees!!!" Wrong sport. Wrong team. How I love that kid: )
